What Youll Do:
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Support monthly reconciliations journal entries and general ledger activities as assigned
- Provide documentation and support to independent auditors during year-end audits
- Assist with preparation and filing of sales use and property taxes
- Process company credit card transactions and reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Calculate and record monthly sales commissions
- Provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Generate ad hoc reports as requested
- Assist the accounting team with special projects and additional tasks as needed
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required
- 4 years of general accounting experience preferred
- Strong ability to multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read analyze and interpret business documents professional journals technical procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts interest and commissions accurately
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Data entry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
