Urgent Care Veterinarian Gig Harbor WA
A growing companion animal practice is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative and education-focused team. This opportunity allows a doctor to manage a consistent urgent care caseload within a well-equipped facility while maintaining a structured and sustainable schedule. The practice emphasizes mentorship clinical autonomy and teamwork fostering an environment where veterinarians can continue to grow professionally while delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat urgent and same-day medical cases
Perform minor surgical and medical procedures as needed
Develop and communicate treatment plans clearly with clients
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
Collaborate with veterinary and support staff to ensure continuity of care
Utilize in-house diagnostic and imaging tools to support medical decisions
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)
Experience or strong interest in urgent care medicine
Solid diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
Strong communication and client education abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
