Job Summary

mxdwn Games News Writers are expected to be on top of and keep up to date with whats going on in the gaming industry on a daily basis. Writers are encouraged to go out and find the news that is relevant fresh and interesting to a broad gaming audience. They are expected to be able to research source information and then convey that news in a well structured engaging article on a 5 days a week basis.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this position you must:

Have a passion for journalism writing and video games.
Have a competent understanding of the English language including: grammar flow structure and spelling.
Have adequate time to properly research and write a cohesive article 5 times a week. (300 words minimum)
Be able to work professionally with all members of the Games department.
Have access to the internet and your own personal computer.

Additional Information :

Please note that this is an UNPAID benefits of joining the mxdwn Games team are experience exposure and a foot in the door into the industry.

No prior experience is required. A degree in Journalism Creative Writing or similar fields are a plus. If selected you will receive training on how to write and publish a standard article using our sites content management system.
