Job Summary
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal Quebec. Reporting to the team leader the Truck Mechanic is responsible for maintaining repairing and refurbishing various equipment while regularly reporting to their team leader.
What youre responsible for:
- Diagnose maintain and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- Training: DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
- PEP card. (Asset)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in hydraulic electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Computer Skills: Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
- Drivers License
- Safety: Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and adherence to safety protocols.
