Job Summary

As we welcome our new Reserve Bank Governor we are also looking to welcome a new Currency Operator to support our nationally significant mahi.

Te tūranga The role

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of banknote repatriation processing. This involves counting (via machine and manually) machine processing and balancing/reconciliation. Honesty integrity attention to detail and the ability to understand and consistently follow strict security health and safety requirements and operational procedures are critical in this position.

Were looking for a collaborative worker who can work to deadlines effectively. To be successful in this role you will have:

Skilled in inventory systems and identifying operational issues
Experience with manual cash handling equipment
Team player calm under pressure and confident decision-maker
Excellent communication skills and proven numeracy for accurate reconciliations
High attention to detail and ability to learn currency-related procedures
