UW Health in northern Illinois seeks BE/BC Otolaryngologists to join our community practice in RockfordIllinois. As a member of our medical group with over 100 primary care providers you have the benefit of a built-in referral base from the areas preferred healthcare provider. These positions provide a busy comprehensive otolaryngology practice supporting the 270 employed providers of SwedishAmerican Medical Group.
As a valued member of SAMG your community-based practice will flourish with the following support and benefits:
- Full-service audiology services onsite including 3 AuDs hearing aid center newborn screening CAP testing and balance/vertigo testing
- 15 modern surgical suites with block scheduling at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital
- 10- bed inpatient pediatric unit with pediatric hospitalist support in UW Health Women and Childrens Hospital
- Quaternary support from the UW Health American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison WI
- 12-county regional referral area in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin
- Academic appointment and teaching with University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
- APP support to streamline workflow and patient management
Education
License/Certifications
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire - Required
- Active Illinois medical license - Required
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years - Required
- Bi-annual CPR certification - Preferred
