AbbVies Immunology R&D organization is expanding its early discovery team at the Cambridge Research Center in Cambridge MA. We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our expanding immunology team in the area of respiratory diseases. The early discovery team in Cambridge is focused on target validation for the treatment of respiratory diseases through computational analysis of human disease tissue derived datasets and through in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches to make a remarkable impact on patient lives. This scientist will specifically support the development of preclinical in vitro and in vivo models for respiratory diseases. We are seeking an enthusiastic skilled and dedicated individual. This position requires passion attention to detail prior hands-on experience and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterile cell culture (cell lines and primary cells)
- Skillful in standard molecular and cellular biology techniques
- Implement assays that monitor cellular processes
- Candidates with knowledge of the following techniques will receive extra consideration: flow cytometry PCR/gene analysis protein/cytokine measurement via ELISA/MSD
- Analyze data and present work in internal meetings
- Maintain accurate laboratory records/electronic lab notebook and data
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with peers and their teams
Qualifications :
Position will be hired based on level of experience.
- Bachelors degree in molecular biology immunology or other biological sciences with 0-3 (BS/BA) years of experience.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
