What You Can Expect

As a Capex Project Intern youll support Project Managers in delivering utility projects that meet design budget and schedule goals. You will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecyclefrom early design through handover to Operations and Maintenanceand contribute to the successful execution of capital projects.

What You Will Do

In this role you will:

• Work closely with engineering procurement and operations teams to ensure project quality safety and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment on technical requirements field conditions and project priorities
• Maintain project schedules and support progress updates to keep teams coordinated
• Assist with budget tracking and reporting to help monitor project performance
• Support development and review of construction drawings and technical documentation and learn Microsoft Project and Bluebeam
• Participate in procurement activities including materials coordination and supplier contract management to ensure the smooth flow of materials services and information

What Youll Bring

• Must be a current sophomore junior or senior pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in construction management engineering or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy in the ENGIE Iowa City office and is not eligible for remote work
• The internship work term will be from June 1 2026 to August 28 2026 and require a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Hourly Range: $23.00 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography experience industry knowledge education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.
