Job Summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Facility Manager with a Secret security clearance to support KOS and our government customer in Annapolis MD. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This key personnel position requires expertise in facilities management contract administration and operational oversight to ensure all facilities-related requirements are met efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personnel coordinating maintenance activities and serving as the primary point of contact for facility-related Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The On-Site Program and Facilities Manager will be responsible for the performance of work and managing the total work effort associated with required facilities services. This position requires planning scheduling cost accounting report preparation establishing and maintaining records and quality control. Core responsibilities include:Manage and control all contract performance and supervise all personnel assigned to the contractPerform weekly internal walkthrough inspections of the entire facility to identify deficienciesInput coordinate track and close out service calls for corrective actionProvide monthly service call reports and weekly status reports of all service calls/work orders to the CORCoordinate with the Government regarding any known utility outages that may affect facility operationsProvide coordination and escort for any uncleared individuals performing maintenance or repairs within the buildingOversee all maintenance and repairs within the buildingEnsure proper contract administration including management of personnel requirements and employee appearance/uniform standardsEnsure contract employees wear appropriate uniforms and personal protective equipment as requiredBe available on-site during normal duty hours with an alternate available in case of absenceRemain reachable by cell phone and email after normal duty hoursBe able to arrive on-site within two (2) hours of recall 24 hours a day seven (7) days a weekEducation and Experience:Required (one of the following combinations):Industry recognized certification in Program/Project Management (PM) or Facility Management AND Bachelors Degree or higher in Facility Management Construction Management Business Administration Engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical Structural) Operations Management or related fields AND minimum 3 years experience as a PM and/or FM at a project of similar size and complexityORIndustry recognized certification in Program/Project Management (PM) or Facility Management AND Ten (10) years experience as a Program Manager (PM) and/or Facilities Operations Manager (FOM) at a project of similar size and complexity (may substitute for the degree requirement)Note: A project of similar size and complexity means project and facilities management of a complex that is at least 40000 square feet (sq. ft.)Required Skills and Competencies:SECRET-level security clearance (must hold clearance at time of hire)Demonstrated experience with operations in U.S. Government facilitiesExperience with development maintenance and reporting of facility and service metricsKnowledge of contract negotiations modifications and other related contractual requirementsStrong leadership and management capabilities to supervise diverse facilities staffExcellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple maintenance activities simultaneouslyAbility to identify facility deficiencies and implement corrective actionsStrong communication skills for interacting with government personnel and contractor staffKnowledge of facilities systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and securityUnderstanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirementsAbility to manage personnel uniform and appearance requirementsCapability to work flexible hours including potential after-hours response to facility emergenciesDesired Skills and Competencies:Advanced degrees or certifications in facilities management or related fieldsExperience managing security guard personnel and operationsKnowledge of government contracting regulations and proceduresExperience with computerized maintenance management systemsBackground in building automation systemsUnderstanding of physical security requirements for government facilitiesExperience coordinating maintenance in secure facilities with clearance requirementsPrevious work in military or other government installationsClearance Requirement:Secret-level security clearance (must hold clearance at time of hire)Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
