Job Summary

As a Senior Site Operations Engineer (19787)you willbe responsible fordesigning developing andmaintaininghigh-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projectsmentoringjunior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design implement and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Python to ensure consistency scalability and operational efficiency
• Build manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines across platforms such as GitLab GitHub and AWS Code/CDK to enable reliable and seamless deployments to staging and production environments
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases across on-prem and AWS environments including performance tuning backup strategies disaster recovery planning and database migrations using AWS DMS
• Implement and maintain monitoring logging and alerting systems across hybrid infrastructures (on-prem and AWS) support incident management and contribute to infrastructure migrations with a no surprises in production mindset

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience as a DevOps SiteOps or Infrastructure Engineer supporting scalable production systems
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting automation and operational tooling
• Hands-on expertise with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation
• Solid experience managing PostgreSQL databases including optimization replication backup and recovery strategies
• Experience working in hybrid environments including private data centers and AWS cloud
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or AWS pipelines
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus Thanos Grafana or Grafana Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems including CentOS and Alma Linux
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals load balancing security best practices and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
