About the role

As the Category Assistant for Boots Beauty & Wellness Ignite youll play a critical role in implementing and supporting the Ignite team with spotting the lastest beauty and wellness trends setting up brands and engaging cross functionally on the progress being made.

You will provide administrative support to the team youll build strong relationships across the business particularly within the Beauty and Wellness trading teams ensuring engagement is always happening and being a true advocate for the Ignite programme.

Reporting into Category Manager - Boots Ignite you will coordinate across multiple projects with external brands and internal cross functional teams and will hold yourself and others to high standards. Youll monitor how our products perform and show up in our stores and online and youll stay close to the latest trends and activity on social media. Your ability to manage multiple workstreams at any given time will be key as will be your comfort in working at a fast pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend spotting on social media for Beauty and Wellness brands.

• Provide administrative support (Including vendor set up and new line set up raising purchase orders)

• Supporting on artwork assets and sample coordination for instore trays social and marketing activations etc.

• Ownership of regular updates with cross functional teams on progress being made with brands for setup and launch dates etc.

• Involvement in additional projects like Meet the buyer

• Financial sales reporting

• You have a passion for Beauty and Wellness products.

• You are comfortable with working at a fast pace

• You can work collaboratively in a team

• A driver of change leading the way and role modelling new processes for others.

• Passionate about the best delivery on time in full right first time and committed to achieving this

• Amazing attention to detail as well as the ability to work well under pressure juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines

• Flexible proactive and driven

• Experience in commercial would be ideal andKnowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word) essential
