Base location either inPeterborough LincolnColchesteror Norwich (depending on your location). Hybrid 2 days in the office.

We are seeking an experienced Clean Water Modeller to join our Chief Engineering Officeteam-someone who brings strong capability in cleanwater network modelling and a commitment to developing deep technicalexpertise.This is a rare opportunity to join a leading technical teamand helpshapethe future of cleanwater modelling acrossCapital deliveryandthe wider business.

What you will be doing

You willlead thecapital schemeclean watermodellingcapabilitywithinthe Chief EngineersOfficeteamcollaboratingwithAssetManagement andOperationsto influencehow our cleanwater systems are designedoperated and optimised.

You will translate complex model outputs into clearrisk basedrecommendations and play an active role in assuring modelling quality and developing capability across the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliveringtechnical excellence in water modelling using tools such asSynergi&InfoWorksWS Pro

  • Leadingthe development of solutions and testing operating scenarios for new water assets

  • Diagnosing performance issues in existing assets

  • Sharingknowledge and contributingto the continuous improvement of standards specifications and processes.

  • Promotinga culture of collaboration and integration delivering exceptional service to customers stakeholders and the wider Anglian Water business.

What we are looking for

You will bringextensivehands onexperience inclean waternetwork modelling along with:

  • Proven leadership in delivering complex modelling projects involving multiple stakeholders

  • Experienceofleading technical studies and interpreting system behaviour

  • Strong analyticalproblem solving and communication skills

  • Experience with tools such asInfoWorksWS ProSynergi or similar

  • Solid hydraulic fundamentals and a genuine commitment to professional growth

  • Strong knowledge of industry context policies frameworks and initiatives including interpreting their impact on modelling priorities

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrable relevant experience; Chartered status or working towards it with a professional body.

  • A collaborative mindset with the capability to integrate into various teams shareexpertise and drive innovative solutions.
