Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Revit Civil & Structural Designer to join our Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Mumbai. The role involves preparing and managing 3D models layouts and construction drawings using Revit AutoCAD and related tools while ensuring compliance with international codes and project standards. The designer will collaborate across disciplines perform technical reviews and contribute to major industrial and infrastructure projects. Strong expertise in civil and structural design BIM workflows and the ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Our team within the Industrial Business specializes in taking on the most significantengineering projects in theMining & MetallurgyChemicalFoodpharmasector ensuring safe reliable low carbon nuclearpower generation andpreparations for safe and efficient defueling. We also support otherparts of theAtkinsRéalisNuclear & Power business covering the full life cycle from new buildthrough to deconstruction.

AtkinsRéalisGlobalTechnologyCentre (GTC) is looking to appointaRevitDesigner (Structural/Civil)to join our team. This role will bebased at ourAtkinsRéalisoffice in Mumbai India.

Your role

Responsibilities

• Directly performs work of designers and draftersthis work includes the preparationof 3D model inRevitapplicationalso preparationof layouts study drawings detailed construction drawings usingRevit /2D CAD software like AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Civil 3Dknowledge is preferred.
• ProficientinStructural and Civildesign and developmentPlantdesign including concept sketches andother buildinglayouts.
• Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports
• Is responsible forthe accuracy of bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the discipline.
• Reviews drawings and vendor documentation both within the discipline as well as from other fields for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution.
• Issue engineering drawings for Inter Discipline Check (IDC) and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to close any technicalissues.
• Prepare and review inputsrequiredfor pre-engineering survey.
• Proficient inNavisworksreview capabilities asrequired.
• Should be able to work independently and handle an area withteamofdesigners/engineers.
• Interdisciplinary check of all Civil / Structural / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation drawings
• Provide guidance and mentorship to lower classification designers.
• Review project parameters related toCivil and Structuralrequirements.

About you

Required skills and experience

• Engineering Graduateor Engineering Diploma or ITIwith experiencebetween3to7Yearsmainly forMining & MetallurgyChemicalandPetrochemicalsmultidisciplinaryof medium andlarge sizeprojects.
• Thorough awareness of international codes and standards used forStructural andCivildesign in the industry.
• Shall be Capable of ProducingRevitModel Independently in coordination withother disciplines.
• Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes.
• Able to present /representtheir technical work.
• Working knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System).
• Familiar with planning budgeting and scheduling of basic drafting tasks indesignated disciplines.
• Shows flexibility in work tasks and locations.
• An effective and reliable team member able to apply knowledge gained.
• Responsible for completion of specifically assigned tasks to time and cost.
• Ensuring that drawings issued arein accordance withthe agreed standards as required by the UK / ME region.

Desirableskills and experience

• Must be an advanced user ofRevit& Its equivalent tools for Plant Design with capabilities to federate individual disciplinemodelsmaintainand run clash related activities fordiscipline models.
• Handsonexperience withCivil 3D would be preferred.
• Must be able to use Navisworks to generate clash results manage clash resolution redline BIM Models captureviewpointsand cascade reports to discipline teams.
• Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies method statements specificationsdesign reportsschedulesconstructiondrawingsandbills of quantities.
