Job Summary

Position Overview: The Quality Executive plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all stages of product development production and delivery. This role involves overseeing quality assurance Aviation Safety Environment health safety processes coordinating with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality safety customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Develop implement and monitor quality standards procedures and specifications for products and processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections audits and tests to ensure compliance with Organizational quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues working closely with production and engineering teams.
  • Conduct audit under the supervision of Lead Auditor.
  • Provide executive summary to management for Quality Assurance activities.


Aviation Safety and EHS

  • Key point of Contact for Aviation safety management system
  • Driver for Aviation safety group and Safety Review board.
  • Driver for Aviation safety and EHS culture in the organization.
  • Would be responsible for organization goals for Aviation safety
  • Would the responsible person for EHS activities and all EHS corporate program.
  • Will coordinate EHS activities and program at interdepartmental level.
  • Will work as bridge between organization and APAC regional heads for Aviation safety and EHS.
  • Provide executive summary to management for Aviation safety and EHS activities

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas of improvement within quality control processes implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in product quality productivity and cost optimization.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends areas for improvement and proactive measures to prevent quality issues.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure that organizational Process meet regulatory and industry standards including ISO Six Sigma and any other relevant standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections audits and processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on quality metrics audits and non-conformities for management review.
  • Planning and execution of the periodic DGCA FSTD evaluation visits in co-ordination with the Quality Manager.
  • Assist with external audits FSTD qualification related to DGCA & EASA.
  • Ensure that all internal and external audit records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations and management documentation!
  • Responsible for DGCA Liaising for work and documentation purposes.

Team Coordination and Development:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (to align quality objectives with overall business goals.
  • Planning and execution of the periodic DGCA FSTD evaluation visits in co-ordination with the Quality Manager.
  • Train mentor and provide guidance to junior quality staff fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Support the development of quality training programs and foster awareness of quality issues across the organization.

Customer Focus and Satisfaction:

  • Act as a liaison between the organization and customers addressing quality-related concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms and ensure prompt responses to customer complaints or inquiries related to quality.
  • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction metrics implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications

and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in aerospace/Aeronautics/Aviation/ Aircraft Maintenance Engineering/ Pilot or equivalent.
  • 2 5 years of relevant experience in field of aviation safety and EHS along with internal or external audit experience in an aviation related environment.
  • Must understand internal auditing standards and risk assessment practices as per ISO. 9001: 45001
  • Must have good knowledge DGCA EASA and other aviation regulation with respect to ATO FSTD flight crew standards training and licensing and aviation legislations related to Quality systems & Pilot training.
  • Must be and ISO 9001:2015 certified lead auditor.
  • certification in quality management methodology (e.g. Six Sigma Lean) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles methodologies and tools.
  • Training education and/or experience may be substituted for certain minimum qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with regular visits to DGCA.
  • occasional Intercity travel if required.

Flexibility to work extended
