Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work safe and follow all safety Procedures including forklift safety Observe report and correct (when appropriate) all unsafe conditions that may result in potential accidents
Wear all PPE that is required in this area
Respond to schedule changes efficiently and timely including order changes deletions cut-off periods and any other matters pertaining to order maintenance
Keeping the material waste to a minimum
Maintain all paperwork and records in a correct and professional manner.
Keep work area clean and free of debris.
Assisting Inspection Operators.

SPECIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

Positive communication skills and proper use of Chain of Command
Above average math and reading skills
Proficiency in use of a 10 key calculator
Capable of using a Tape measure correctly (Metric and Standard)
Capable of working with metric numbers
Basic computer skills including the use of Windows based programs
Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
Ability to meet production standards as set by the company
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Safe Forklift operation with certification push /pull material with pallet jack (300kg)
Walk / Stand for extend lengths of time (4 hours)
Regular bending twisting kneeling stretching is required
