DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Day to day operations for pre-order export control screening regarding China/Hongkong/Taiwan high risk orders based on applicable regulations including US EAR Taiwan SHTC MY STA and so on.
- Day to day operations for China/Hongkong/Taiwan daily on hold Order Screening with the auto screening tool.
- Collect EUS documents from the sales team when required and manage the documentation efficiently.
- Escalate high-risk orders to the global management team along with a corresponding internal analysis.
- Daily review customers background based on the criteria
- Prepare documents to apply for applicable export license and follow up the process
- Support annual compliance audit for distributors and partners.
- Support draft internal export compliance operation SOPs based on daily practice.
- Review RPL inquires raised by sales services team.
- Deliver Export Control training to internal customers.
- Track the regulations of Export Control and communicate them to internal stakeholders.
- Support China/Hong Kong/Taiwan customer inquiries about US/China/Hong Kong/Taiwan Export control related inquires.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong individual contributor ability to understand US export control rules and China/Hongkong/Taiwan Customs & trade rules & regulations.
- Ability to manage small projects and generate ideas for continuous improvement. Capable of executing local initiatives from start to finish.
- Ability to detect gaps and propose the needed solutions.
- Ability to effectively multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail and strong interest in learning regulations.
- Initiative to undertake additional responsibilities
- Bachelors Degree Required. (Preferred Major: International Trade Electronic or Mechanical Engineering International Business Economics law Supply Chain Logistics or equivalent.)
- Internship experience or import/export related work experience is a plus but not required.
