Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule Options:
Friday Saturday & Sunday
ORSaturday Sunday & Monday
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours (3x12s)
Compensation
Gross Weekly: $2430
W2 Hourly Rate: $25/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1568
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Behavioral Services Unit night shift assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive patient-centered care in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment ensuring safety stabilization and therapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patient safety and respond to crisis situations
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
Collaborate with psychiatrists therapists and interdisciplinary teams
Provide patient education and emotional support
Uphold safety protocols and de-escalation techniques
Requirements
Active New York State RN License
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Behavioral Health experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience Required
Strong assessment critical thinking and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a high-acuity behavioral health setting
Required Certifications
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
