Surgical RNFA- must have prior robotic experience in the operating room.Graduate of a CAAHEP (ARC/STSA) accredited school of Surgical Assisting required.
7am - 5:30pm
4-10 hour shifts. No on call.
Job Description
RN First Assistants are responsible for the following:
Provide patient care and support before and after the surgery.
Prepares all surgical tools and supplies needed for procedures.
Practice surgical procedures that include controlling bleeding draping etc.
The RN First Assistant is a registered nurse who assists the surgeon by monitoring the patient during procedures and by providing nursing care during a specific time period. Qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
BCLS/ACLS certifications
