Job Summary
Press Operator IGannett Publishing Services Auburn MADuties:Set up press conveyor/stacker system for press runs. Stack down newspapers as directed and deliver the Mailroom for further processing. Count sort and strap bundles as the press crew with all phases of setup run maintenance and housekeeping duties on the presses and in the to understand the Offset reproduction process and continuously work on the skills necessary to correctly and efficiently operate the printing presses and auxiliary department adhere to all safety directives for the department the plant and the adhere to all Company policies and demonstrates reliability punctuality excellent communication skills and comprehension good mechanical aptitude willingness to learn and a strong work flexibility including night weekend and holiday shifts is expected.
