Job Description:
Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting (IDAR) Summer Intern Clinical & Statistical Programming
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops basic knowledge and experience of the role of Clinical & Statistical Programming in the drug development process and the related processes concepts techniques and approaches adopted through training coaching and engaging in activities relevant to the function.
- Under close qualified supervision that ensures quality and compliance may;
- Design and develop statistical programs of low complexity in support of low-risk functional deliverables related to clinical research analysis and reporting.
- Perform appropriate quality control and verification activities of low complexity in support of assigned clinical research analysis and reporting activities.
- Maintain Programming documentation related to these activities.
- Provide input into other procedural or technical documents.
- Develop applications in R/R Shiny/Python to facilitate data visualization and review.
- Populate a knowledge base for all enterprise applications with SME input.
- Building automation testing scripts for the non GxP applications.
- Performs activities in accordance with departmental processes and procedures as appropriate.
- Ensures continued compliance with required company and departmental training time reporting and other business/operational processes as required relative to activities.
- May contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects or exploratory research projects relevant to the function.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Enrolled in a graduate degree program.
Education Preferences:
- Preferred fields of study are computer science data science/data engineering mathematics public health or other relevant scientific field.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of relevant programming languages (e.g. SAS R Python etc.).
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of clinical research and clinical operation.
Other:
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for duration of internship.
