As an Engineering Buyer you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable flow of materials services and engineering supplies needed to support site operations projects and production continuity. You will collaborate crossfunctionally drive supplier excellence and contribute to robust supply planning aligned with Arxadas values of collaboration grit and going beyond.

Essential Job Functions

  • Input and manage all purchase orders for plant requirements engineering projects spare parts and nonstock materials.

  • Process sales engineering orders ensuring accurate invoices and issuing credits when necessary.

  • Benchmark engineering suppliers according to corporate guidelines and support in supplier qualification activities.

  • Negotiate spot buys and applicable service contracts to secure optimal value and performance.

  • Maintain uptodate replenishment orders and tolling plans ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

  • Utilize SAP Excel and Power BI to build analyze and distribute replenishment and procurement metrics.

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to balance supply and demand and optimize inventory and product flow at a tactical level.

  • Track monitor and report key KPIs for responsible categories.

  • Contribute to weekly supply review meetings highlighting risks proposing mitigation plans and escalating issues impacting operational efficiency.

  • Support monthly supply reviews with Production and Procurement teams to ensure alignment and continuity.

  • Execute POs and manage daily buying activities (convert requisitions raise orders maintain accurate SAP records).

  • Serve as primary problem solver for supply disruptions: resolve delivery delays logistics issues and invoice mismatches.

  • Propose and monitor inventory targets to optimize working capital cost and service levels.

  • Approve invoices and ensure timely submission of COAs and documentation for incoming materials.

  • Manage updates for REACH ISO SDS and product samples related to approved materials.

  • Oversee purchasing for HAWA/Resell products LTSD documentation and label updates (in collaboration with labeling team).

  • Conduct procurement reporting and analysis (business unit communication pricing trends market insights presentations).

  • Plan and manage raw material replenishment activities to meet production targets escalating risks when needed.

  • Drive actions to eliminate or reduce slowmoving items partnering with Sales and Production teams.

  • Balance supply and demand through replenishment orders at site or area level considering service expectations and inventory optimization goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in procurement supply chain engineering buying or a related operational function.

  • Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

  • Proficiency with SAP Excel and analytical tools (Power BI preferred).

  • Knowledge of SIOP processes inventory management and raw material planning is beneficial.

  • Strong problemsolving capability and comfort navigating complex supplier or supply chain issues.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fastpaced environment.

  • A proactive ownershipdriven approach aligned with Arxadas culture of performance and continuous improvement.
