Electronics Purchasing/Inventory Control
Position Statement:
As a member of the M&M Carnot production team the employee will be responsible for ordering controlling receiving shipping validation and maintaining stock of all materials required for production and in-house use allowing the completion of company projects.
Reports to:
Operations
Responsibilities:
- Place all orders for all electronic parts and assemblies with vendors.
- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships by meetings emails or phone.
- Monitoring inventory usage levels and lead times for all parts.
- Work with engineers and electronic suppliers to resolve lead time and parts obsolescence issues.
- Receive and inspect all incoming items to determine that items Received are correct.
- Track internal movement of inventory and update the accounting and information systems as needed.
- Interface with and manage outsource contract manufacturers for circuit boards cable assemblies and other value-add components.
- Pack parts sales for shipping
Required Skills:
- Purchase and supply chain management experience
- Experience working with and selecting electronic panel and board level components
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word Excel etc.
- Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite SAP Dynamics etc.)
- Experience with Maple or alike systems.
- Vendor negotiation experience
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $68000-$93000 (Salary to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with marketdata.)
