JOB SUMMARY:
Intern will be responsible for ensuring that all visual integrity elements within Merchandise are maintained according to Visual Show Quality Standards. Serves as lead on design and execution of projects for the Visual Merchandise team as it relates to the presentation and support of product within the Merchandise divisions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the design and participates in hands-on fabrication and installation of props set pieces backdrops and other visual elements for seasonal window sets pop-up shops and other specialty activations.
- Designs sources and participates in the project management of Visual merchandising-related projects including fixture design and development graphics signage mannequins and collateral to support in-store Merchandise assortments.
- Coordinates event seasonal and symphony collateral planning design coordination procurement hands-on fabrication installation scheduling and execution. Designs and assembles the necessary scope for pop-up shops and periodic theatrical-based sets and presentations.
- Manages the Visual Merch Components of new store openings and renovations and smaller in-store initiatives including budgets sourcing procurement fabrication of props/fixtures and collateral installs and other execution.
- Parkwide Merchandise Holiday Trim and seasonal signage design procurement hands-on fabrication installation and execution. Pull together presentations for merchandise displays and assemble meaningful product presentations using existing and handmade props and displays.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Themed Experiences Visual Merchandising or similar.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Sketchup.
- Familiarity with handheld and shop-based power tools and equipment as well as varied paint applications finishes and techniques.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
