Operations ManagerGannett Publishing Services - USA TODAY NJPosition SummaryThe Operations Manager oversees building maintenance and supports production departments to ensure efficient consistent and reliable operations. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and effective coordination with internal teams and external ResponsibilitiesBuilding Operations:Manage daily building maintenance and schedule support personnel to maintain 24/7 coverage of critical preventive maintenance and ensure prompt resolution of equipment maintenance programs and repairs with staff and & Regulatory Record Keeping:Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations including:Sewer Authority reporting and system maintenance (CBOD and pH specifications)Underground Storage Tank inspections and documentationBoiler reports and inspections (DEP) for boilers chillers and pressure vesselsFire protection systems elevator generator and fire pump inspectionsStormwater and air permitting requirementsCommunity Right to Know (CRTK) reportingProduction Support:Collaborate with the Production Support Manager to resolve equipment issues in pressroom and prepress production schedules and staffing for operational :Demonstrated experience in operations management building maintenance and production of compliance requirements (DEP NJ State inspections environmental permits).Strong leadership and communication to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Schedule:Full-time with flexibility to ensure 24/7 coverage of building systems.
