Join Montanas insurance rates team and turn classroom knowledge into real world regulatory impact. Gain hands on experience with data analytics statistical modeling and actuarial review while supporting consumer protection efforts.

Position Overview:

Paid internship with the State of Montanas Insurance rates regulatory team.

Support data management and analytical projects that modernize Montanas Insurance regulatory capabilities.

Work with real insurance data statistical models and homeowner datasets to inform policy decisions.

Hands on experience in data management statistical analysis and insurance regulation in a supportive mentoring environment.

What youll do:

Participate in legislative studies including the NAIC Homeowners Data Call and analysis of Montana Market trends.

Prepare data summaries visualizations and reports for regulatory decision making with guidance from senior staff.

Help automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
