Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer iOS to join Snap and build consumer-facing Generative AI-first mobile products. You will create high-quality experiences for creators and help ship polished features at scale.
What youll do
- Build and ship end-to-end features for iOS applications
- Create smooth reliable high-performance mobile experiences
- Partner with product design backend and iOS teams
- Improve app performance stability and quality
- Contribute to technical direction and engineering best practices
What were looking for
- Strong experience building consumer-facing mobile products
- Deep iOS expertise with a strong product and performance mindset
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative proactive and comfortable working across teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
- Strong knowledge of UIKit Foundation Core Animation and Core Data
- Understanding of runtime behaviour OS internals multithreading and mobile optimisation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping and maintaining large-scale iOS applications
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native
- Experience with iOS performance optimisation
- Experience with C/C OpenGL or Metal
- Passion for building polished stable user experiences
