Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:
You will lead the mechanical design of complex automated systems where biology meets precision engineering. This role involves taking hardware from concept to manufacture focusing on robustness and high-precision electromechanical integration. You will iterate on existing designs and develop new features to ensure reliability in mission-critical laboratory environments.

What you will do:

Lead the development and iteration of complex hardware systems interfacing with optics fluidics and precision motion components.
Design and refine mechanical features from concept through to manufacturing using techniques like injection molding and CNC machining.
Build and maintain test rigs and quality processes to improve sprint velocity and ensure product reliability.

The ideal candidate:

Has successfully brought at least one complex hardware product to market preferably in medical devices or biotech.
Possesses deep knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding sheet metal and high-precision assembly.
Thrives in a multidisciplinary environment with a strong interest in how hardware electronics and software interface.
