Overview
Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums and proctor 1-1 or small groups of special students receiving disability-related accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums.
- Proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations.
- Be familiar with academic integrity protocols -- eg distance seating focused attention exam start/stop time policies.
- Be able to confront and report suspected behaviors allegedly in violation of academic integrity policies and department testing policies
Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Sensitivity in communications with faculty students and other staff
- Ability to follow integrity protocols
- Collaborative working style
- Work experience in any educational or administrative capacity
Working Conditions
- Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
- Extensive time sitting and standing.
- Ability to accommodate a schedule that varies according to student test days/times per semester.
