Position Summary

The Service Room Lead oversees daily operations within the service room ensuring that all processes related to egg handling poult processing sanitation and workflow coordination are executed efficiently safely and according to quality standards.

This role is hands-on and people-focused you will lead by example while guiding and developing a culturally diverse team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coach and supervise service room team members

• Coordinate daily workflow and staffing to meet production targets

• Ensure compliance with animal welfare biosecurity and safety protocols

• Monitor quality control standards and address issues proactively

• Train new employees and provide ongoing performance feedback

• Maintain accurate production and compliance records

• Foster a respectful inclusive and accountable team environment

• Collaborate with hatchery leadership to continuously improve processes

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience leading and managing teams (production agriculture food processing or manufacturing preferred)

• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills

• Comfortable working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds

• Ability to motivate hold accountability and build team morale

• Organized detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings or weekends as needed

• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

• Pay: Starts at $18.38 (Hourly/AG Exempt). Upon90 Day review-$19.08
