Education
- BLD Bachelors Level Degree Nursing
Certification/Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience
- 2 years nursing experience (required)
- 1 year nursing leadership experience (required)
- Previous ANCC Magnet Designation Experience (preferred)
Job summary
Will be responsible for professional practice (to included shared governance) Magnet designation nursing recognition and serve at the NDNQI coordinator for the hospital. Will work closely with the Eastern Market Director Nursing Professional Practice Education and Magnet for Magnet document submission and interim reporting. Collaborates with nursing leaders on patient outcomes. Partners with key stakeholders to support achieving divisional goals and objectives.
