About the role
As a Mobile Engineer at Chowdeck youll be part of a team that strives to deliver
happiness to our customers as we empower hundreds of restaurant owners in
Nigeria with the knowledge and the courage they need to bring their ideas to life.

Well trust you to:
Build and maintain features on one or more of our multiple mobile apps for
our different marketplace stakeholders: customers vendors riders and
internal users.
Build pixel-perfect buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms iOS and
Android.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms when
necessary such as in location tracking
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks so that our apps feel as
native as possible.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the
highest quality.

Youll thrive as a Mobile Engineer if you
have very deep knowledge of React Native
have a fundamental knowledge of JavaScript language and its many nuances
are familiar with native build tools like XCode Android Studio Gradle etc
are familiar with building and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools
like Fastlane
familiar with Apple App store and Google Play store guidelines for great
building mobile apps
have experience with automated testing suites for mobile
love to solve complex issues even when the answers are not readily available
can communicate clearly and empathetically for both verbal and written
engagements
have a deep and unrelenting focus on customer satisfaction and experience
can turn incomplete conflicting or ambiguous inputs into solid manageable
tasks and action plans.
experience building delight into products using animations and other micro
interactions where necessary
