Software Engineer, Sr Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain real-time trading systems that support mission-critical business operations.
• Review system requirements and translate them into scalable reliable software solutions.
• Code test debug and implement software across the full development lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and champion continuous improvement in system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet rigorous performance and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Proven ability to work independently solve complex problems and deliver high-quality code.
• Clear communicator with experience working in collaborative fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or specialization in financial markets finance or mathematics.
• Experience with high-performance low-latency mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms or AI/ML technologies.

This position can be located in Philadelphia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office subject to change) providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
