We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team at Jefferson Health Washington Township. The Hospitalist will be responsible for managing the comprehensive care of hospitalized patients ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct inpatient care including assessment diagnosis treatment and management of patients.
- Coordinate with specialists nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in patient admissions daily rounds and discharges ensuring continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies including Rapid Response Team activations and Code Blue situations.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
- Mentor and supervise medical students residents or advanced practice providers as applicable.
