Maintain the scheduling office flow and supplies for Student Health Services Clinic.

Job Description

Essential Functions

Interacts with co-workers visitors and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Communicates with Students Family Members (if applicable) Campus Partners and other Medical Offices in a professional and courteous manner.
Data entry faxing scanning and run reports
Schedules patient appointments for the Provider staff.

Maintains suplies and manages ordering and billing for the same.

Oversees the schedules and onboarding initial requirements for Student Workers.

Processes medical records requests and oversees compliance with medical records storage.

Maintains CLIA compliance assuring licensure is kept up-to-date.

Enters lab orders and calls for pick ups

Assists with on campus event scheduling and room reservations ex. Flu Clinic

Competencies (Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required):

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) skills for scheduling and data entry and retrieval
Phone answering skills
Lab Tech/ Lab drawing skills preferred

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required and lab tech certification preferred

AND

Experience:

Working in a medical office or hospital unit in client facing role preferred
