Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up machines according to production specifications
Operate machinery safely and efficiently
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
Keep work area clean and organized
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Basic mechanical knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA regulations
Problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions
May require working in a noisy manufacturing environment
May involve shift work (day evening or night shifts)
Requires physical activity including standing lifting bending and repetitive motions
