Summer Internship Global Finance Intern (Hopewell)

Education Required:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors in: Finance Accounting Economics

Business Analytics Data Science Information Systems Industrial Engineering or related field.

General Description:

The Global Finance Intern will actively participate in the design implementation and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases throughout global finance processes and this role the intern will be responsible for translating real-world finance challenges into AI-driven solutions. They will collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute directly to various initiatives such as pilot programs proofs of concept or fully deployed solutions all aimed at enhancing efficiency accuracy compliance and informed decision-making within the organization.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students who have an interest in finance accounting data analytics technology and business transformation. It offers hands-on experience that bridges the gap between academic learning and practical application in a global finance context.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Assist in the design and execution of AI use cases across global finance processes including:

• Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
• Accounting close and consolidation
• Internal controls compliance and audit support
• Treasury & Tax Strategies
• Forecasting variance analysis and management reporting

Partner with global finance process owners to understand endtoend workflows and control requirements

Support handson execution of use cases by:

• Assisting with data analysis model logic or tool configuration
• Testing outputs for accuracy consistency and control effectiveness
• Documenting results and lessons learned

Collaborate with crossfunctional global teams (Finance IT Data Internal Audit) to assess that solutions are:

• Scalable across regions
• Aligned with global finance standards and policies
• Compliant with internal control expectations

Prepare presentations dashboards and summaries for finance leadership highlighting insights outcomes and recommendations

Computer Skills:

• Exposure to one or more of the following:
  • Python SQL R or similar analytical tools
  • Power BI Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • AI/ML concepts robotic process automation (RPA) or predictive analytics

• Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint)

• Comfortable working with data sets and open to learning and utilizing new tools as needed for analytical tasks.

Pay Rate: $27.00/Hour
