Job Purpose:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring that Donaldson Thailand products are delivered to customers with zero defects ontime delivery and optimized logistics costs to support the companys operational and financial objectives. Operating within a FREE ZONE environment this role must ensure full compliance with customs rules and regulations while maintaining 100% inventory accuracy across all warehouse operations.

The position leads the transformation of logistics operations through Smart Warehouse systems digitalization and AIdriven technologies. This includes enhancing material flow improving warehouse visibility utilizing predictive analytics for demand and inventory planning and automating routine processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. The Logistics Manager is accountable for driving continuous improvement and ensuring that logistics workflows stock control and distribution processes align with Industry 4.0 standards.

This role collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams to support production planning improve customer satisfaction strengthen supply chain performance and ensure seamless compliant and technologyenabled logistics operations.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Logistics Operations Management

  • Manage all logistics work centers including product placement transportation price changes and facilities to ensure zerodefect and ontime delivery while maximizing sales and profitability.
  • Execute smooth endtoend logistics operations to support build plans and ensure timely cargo delivery to customers without linedown incidents.

2 FREE ZONE & Customs Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Thailand FREE ZONE and customs regulations including accurate import/export declarations bonded inventory controls and auditready documentation.
  • Maintain and periodically test internal controls to prevent noncompliance fines or shipment holds; lead regulatory audits and close findings on time.

3. Inventory Accuracy & Warehouse Control

  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through min/max controls cycle counts physical counts and system integrity.
  • Oversee weekly MRB shelflife and monthly SLOB reports; drive crossfunctional actions to prevent aging materials and reduce scrap from EOL raw materials and finished goods.

4. Smart Warehouse Automation & AI Utilization

  • Drive digital transformation in warehouse operations through Smart Warehouse technologies automation and AIsupported analytics.
  • Enhance operational visibility optimize product placement and improve demand and volume forecasting using digital tools.

5. Productivity Cost Optimization & Budget Control

  • Drive productivity improvement across shipment processing product placement and price change activities to minimize cost and achieve savings.
  • Monitor cost performance ensure adherence to budget limits and implement LEAN initiatives to improve efficiency.

6. Transportation Management & Vendor Performance

  • Set monitor and evaluate performance targets for freight forwarders including annual costsaving goals.
  • Lead claims management for loss damage or airfreight reimbursement; coordinate with HQ for global insurance claims and settlements.
  • Review and manage rental contracts (e.g. forklifts machinery) to ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all agreements meet compliance standards and serve the companys best interests.

7. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Prevention

  • Ensure all weekly monthly and yearly logistics reports are accurate and submitted on time in accordance with Customs DIW and other government regulations.
  • Stay updated on customs announcements DIW regulations and international trade terms (e.g. Incoterms) to mitigate risks in inbound and outbound operations.

8. Leadership Team Capability & Training

  • Provide effective leadership through planning prioritizing communication and coaching to strengthen team capability.
  • Build futureready skills (WMS superuser data literacy AI basics Industry 4.0 awareness); develop successors for critical roles.

9. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales PMC PDC Manufacturing Engineering QA and other departments to align operational priorities and support business needs. Serve as a key point of contact to address logistics issues and maintain high service satisfaction.

10. Safety Security & Warehouse Standards

  • Ensure warehouse and backofhouse standards comply with safety security and housekeeping requirements to support a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain proper access control Material Handling Equipment safety and compliance with EHS-related obligations where applicable.

11. Business Continuity & ProblemSolving

  • Operate proactively anticipate risks and execute coursecorrection actions when challenges arise.
  • Support Leader-on Duty responsibilities and ensure operational readiness and maintain BCM playbooks for logistics.

Key Qualifications:

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or Industrial Engineering (Masters degree is a plus).

Technical Competence & Skills:

  • Inbound/Outbound Operations: Strong knowledge of customs clearance documentation and free zone compliance.
  • Advanced Excel: Ability to use pivot tables VLOOKUP macros and data visualization for reporting and analysis.
  • ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (inventory procurement and financial modules).
  • Inventory Management: Skilled in inventory projection demand planning and cycle counts.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Capable of preparing and monitoring budgets cost reduction initiatives and ROI analysis.
  • Incoterms Expertise: Deep understanding of international commercial terms for import/export contracts.
  • CER (Capital Expenditure Requests): Ability to prepare and justify investment proposals for warehouse automation or equipment.

Leadership Competence:

Analytical & Decision-Making Skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability with sharp decision-making under pressure.
  • Ability to analyze KPIs (e.g. order accuracy lead time warehouse utilization) and implement corrective actions.

  • Champions digital transformation such as automation paperless processes predictive analytics and smart warehouse tools.
  • Adapts quickly to regulatory changes new technologies and shifting business priorities.
  • Encourages the team to embrace change with agility and a futureready mindset.

Business Acumen

  • Understand how logistics and inventory impacts business decisions and how changes in other department impact logistics.
  • Good ability to articulate operational data and analysis to interact with other departments.

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 58 years of experience in logistics warehouse management or supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience working in free zone regulations and international trade environments.
  • Experience in SMART Warehouse technologies (automation IoT RFID WMS integration) is highly desirable.

Soft Skill:

  • Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Ensures compliance and minimizes errors in documentation and reporting.
  • Presentation & Communication Skills: Can deliver clear reports and proposals to management and stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead warehouse staff motivate teams and enforce safety standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Works effectively with procurement finance and sales teams.

Others:

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in logistics (green warehousing energy efficiency).
  • Multilingual ability (English local language) for international coordination.
