Job Summary

Job Highlights

Safe and efficient operations of the E3K unit by completing supporting and participating in all assigned tasks

Monitor the process in the field and/or in control room to identify and report unusual and unsafe conditions
Ability to cross train on all operations within the area
Identify routine maintenance requirements
Perform maintenance/repairs to piping and equipment as needed
Prepare Work Orders for maintenance on the unit as needed as well as preparing the equipment for maintenance.
Operation of complex chemical processes utilizing defined standard operation procedures
Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the same
Maintain appropriate shift paperwork.
Work with engineers production specialists quality assurance technicians distribution technicians as well as other plant personnel to safely and efficiently accomplish plant responsibilities.

Experience and Skills

High School Diploma
Good problem-solving skills
Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night and overtime as needed
Previous experience in operations is a plus
Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance)
Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
Participation in plant safety programs
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Must be a team player
