As a Armed Security Officer - Foot Patrol (3k Bonus)in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government transportation location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to situations with calm professional communication. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork integrity and a caring culture while delivering reliable innovative service. This post requires an armed guard card or license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas transit-adjacent property and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services and providing clear direction to occupants when needed.
- Complete reports and logs such as patrol activity incident documentation and visitor or vehicle access records and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience using handcuffs pepper spray and/or a baton is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
