We are looking for an E&I Technician for our Rockland site. The E&I Technician is responsible for the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe reliable and efficient plant operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives by applying technical expertise across a range of equipment and control systems.

Responsibilities:

Support your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
Ensure 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements process safety food safety and quality standards. As well as executing required preventative autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices.
Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock tag try procedures (LTT).
Identify and implement improvements in systems processes and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Ensure all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader Supervisor or Manager.
Ensure preventative autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices are executed as required by department
Performs maintenance and repair of sites electrical and instrumentation systems
Performs work order tasks and supports work order flow through MMIS
Performs troubleshooting of sites electrical and instrumentation systems
Supports scoping and planning of work orders
Follows parts procurement procedures
Supports updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs

Key performance Indicators:

Wrench time (hands-on tool engagement and productivity)

The following are requirements for this position:

High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET
Basic math skills and computer skills

The following knowledge skills and experience are helpful but not required:

13 years of electrical experience ideally supported by a two-year trade or technical college degree
Experience in a manufacturing or chemical production environment
Strong problem-solving conflict management and customer service skills
Ability to work independently multitask and act with urgency
Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Effective collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
Professional demeanor and presentation skills
