Job Summary
The Instrument Repair Shop provides stainless steel surgical instrument and tray service and repairs. The Senior Instrument Repair Technician is responsible for the inspection maintenance calibration and repair of a wide range of medical (stainless steel) instruments working directly with hospital staff and managing/updating equipment records in the Jefferson Censitrac software system.
Essential Functions
This role requires advanced technical skills and a strong understanding of instrumentation systems components and use. The technician ensures equipment operates efficiently safely and accurately supporting operational continuity compliance with safety standards and specific doctor/procedural requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
AND
Experience:
10 years or more in surgical instrument repair or surgical instrument manufacturing. Experience in a hospital environment and familiarity with surgical instrumentation and medical terminology.

Minimum Certifications Registration or License Requirements:
Current valid Drivers license
