Position: Production Technician
Job Location: Cleveland OH

Summary of the Role
This position is responsible for a variety of manufacturing or distribution-based tasks as well as driving and delivering products to customers in a safe timely and professional manner. This position may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders picking products from the warehouse shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities
Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
Delivers products to customers and responsible for returning all completed delivery paperwork to the branch in a timely and accurate manner
Assembles products to company customer and manufacturers standards
Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction
Receives incoming shipments into inventory posts in online system and places items in warehouse.
Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping
Operates mechanical equipment hand tools forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)
Assists with physical inventory
Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
Perform other duties as trained and qualified for
Skills and Abilities
Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner
Must have good communication skills
Requires basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division in units of measure
Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
Basic computer skills preferred including email and internet
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience
A high school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation is a must
Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
Ability to work nights and weekends as required
Ability to work overtime as required
Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)

B2B Delivery experience desired
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position includes a mix ofwarehouseand customer site environmentsmay involve exposure to a range of environmental conditionsincludingfluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold) varying noise levels exposure to dust and other typical elements of an active industrial environment. Ability toproperly and safely use mechanical equipment and tools including forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery (training and certification may be required).
Ability to enter and exit a service vehicle and other mechanical equipment multiple times per day.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves safety glasses steel-toed footwear hearing protection or hard hats depending on task or site conditions.
