Summer Internship 2026 Customer Field Test Engineer

Requisition Summary

The Customer Field Test Intern will help test new or improved truck and engine parts to make sure they work well. You may also work with customers and dealers to check parts are installed correctly and help solve problems.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Help plan and run tests on truck and engine parts.
• Set up test equipment and make sure it works properly.
• Collect and check test data.
• Write simple reports on test results.
• Share your findings with the team.
• Work well with other team members and departments.

Qualifications

• Interest or some experience in engineering or mechanics.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Education

A junior or higher standing working towards an engineering degree
