Job Summary
Job Title: Tool & Die Maker
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time
Overview:
We are looking for motivated individuals to join a manufacturing team that values collaboration accountability and professional growth. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
What Youll Do:
Troubleshoot repair maintain and optimize tooling and dies as needed
Operate tool room equipment and machinery with precision
Support press setup and efficiency as a team
Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
Use problem-solving and root cause analysis to improve processes and quality
Ensure product meets specifications
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and 5S/Kaizen practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Be available for overtime as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to interpret blueprints GD&T tooling and part prints
Troubleshooting skills for daily operational issues
Familiarity with measurement tools such as CMM or gaging equipment
Minimum five years experience in metal stamping prototype tool & die or die repair
Knowledge of manufacturing quality and environmental standards (e.g. IATF16949 ISO 14001) preferred
High school diploma or GED; technical or trade education is a plus
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs perform repetitive motions and work in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to work required overtime
