Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Interacts with co-workers visitors and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Point-Person for all activities for the surgeon(s) team and coordinates all communications between the patients clinical team and office staff.
• Monitors and performs clinic prep works with patients to schedule testing schedules and coordinates surgeries and follows patients through from their NPV to surgery to post operative care.
• Assist the surgery scheduler on the team and communicate/facilitate case changes when they occur.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner on phone or in person.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal state and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Bachelors Degree in psychology health administration or other relate fields from an accredited college/university preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in a medical office required.
