What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a retail and mall location by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry points for employees visitors and vendors using visitor management procedures credential checks and package receipt validation as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including escalating concerns to management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas entrances loading areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports and logs such as incident reports access logs and shift activity documentation and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
