KRE Security LLC is currently sourcing qualified candidates in the Carbon / Lehigh County area for potential Armed School Security Officer opportunities.
Please Note: This posting is for recruitment and candidate sourcing purposes in the Carbon / Lehigh County area. We are building a pool of qualified armed officers for anticipated and upcoming school-based assignments.
Position Overview
Armed School Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students faculty and visitors. Officers serve as a visible security presence and respond proactively to potential safety concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide armed security presence on school property
- Monitor entrances exits and school grounds
- Control access and verify visitors
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Collaborate with school administration and local authorities
- Complete detailed incident reports
Minimum Requirements
- Act 235 certification (required)
- Ability to complete Act 67 School Security Personnel certification
- Ability to pass all required background checks in accordance with school and state regulations
- Valid drivers license
- Clean criminal background
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Experience in law enforcement corrections military or armed security preferred
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 7:15AM - 2:30PM
- Follows academic calendar
- Potential for additional assignments
