Key Responsibilities
Design Management & Coordination
Lead the overall design management for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
Manage and coordinate with external design consultants architects and engineers.
Review and approve design concepts drawings and technical submissions.
Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages.
Consultant Deliverables Review
Review all consultant deliverables including concept schematic detailed design and IFC packages.
Ensure design quality completeness and compliance with project requirements.
Identify gaps discrepancies and risks in design submissions and initiate corrective actions.
Design Changes & Value Engineering
Lead design change management processes across projects.
Propose and implement value engineering solutions to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Evaluate design alternatives and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Authority Submissions & Approvals
Manage all authority submissions and follow up for approvals.
Coordinate with local authorities regulatory bodies and master developers.
Ensure timely approvals to avoid project delays.
Compliance & Standards
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with internal teams (project management construction commercial).
Conduct design coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain proper documentation of all design stages and approvals.
Prepare periodic design status reports for management.
Track design progress against project timelines.
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 1015 years of experience in architectural design and design management.
Proven experience in real estate / mixed-use / large-scale developments.
Experience working with developers or master developers is highly preferred.
Strong exposure to authority approval processes (preferably in GCC/Qatar).
Required Skills:
Strong design review and technical evaluation skills In-depth knowledge of building codes and authority regulations Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving and value engineering capabilities Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Revit etc.) Good communication and leadership skills
Required Education:
Bachelors / Masters Degree in registration or certification is an advantage.
