Position Title: Sound Inventory Control Trainer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sound Inventory Control Trainer to design and deliver structured training programs focused on effective inventory management practices stock accuracy cost control and audit readiness.
The trainer will be responsible for equipping participants with practical knowledge of inventory planning stock monitoring documentation control and loss prevention techniques to ensure operational efficiency and financial control within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver comprehensive training on Sound Inventory Control principles and best practices.
Train participants on stock management techniques including FIFO LIFO ABC analysis and cycle counting.
Educate teams on inventory documentation stock registers GRN issue slips and reconciliation processes.
Provide guidance on minimising stock variances shrinkage and wastage.
Conduct practical case studies and real-time scenario-based learning.
Train staff on inventory audit preparation and compliance procedures.
Introduce inventory control systems and basic ERP-based tracking concepts.
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge improvement.
Prepare training materials worksheets and post-training reports.
Requirements
Proven experience in delivering inventory management or supply chain training programs.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations stock control methods and material management.
Practical knowledge of inventory audits and reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory software is preferred.
Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify technical inventory concepts for operational teams.
Experience working with hospitals manufacturing units retail or corporate supply chains is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Commerce Business Administration or related field.
Certification in Inventory Management / Supply Chain / Warehouse Management preferred.
Additional certification in ERP systems or Material Management is an added advantage.
