What Youll Do:

• Develop and deliver embedded controls software for electrification propulsion systems.

• Translate physicsbased and controlsbased requirements into robust mechatronic control and diagnostics software.

• Design implement and continuously improve embedded algorithms and controller communications.

• Demonstrate feature functionality and readiness through testing.

• Contribute common scalable software solutions across GM-owned platforms.

• Document requirements link them to test cases and ensure thorough verification of software functionality.

• Use automated test tools and environmentsincluding builds benches and vehiclesto verify performance at the controller system and vehicle level.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

• BS in Engineering Electrical Mechanical Computer or BS in Computer Science

• 2 years of experience in embedded controls software development

• Proficient in C C programming

• Knowledge of Auto Code Generation

• Familiarity with programming and calibration/tools such as Java MATLAB/Simulink Python INCA etc.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across organizations

• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

• High integrity selfdirection comfort with ambiguity

• Customerfocused mindset with an emphasis on delivering solutions

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

• MS in Engineering or Computer Science

• 5 years of experience in embedded controls software development

• Strong experience with C/C MATLAB/Simulink autocode generation Python ETAS tools (INCA MDA) and other development/testing tools

• Experience with JIRA and the Scaled Agile Framework

• Knowledge of bootloaders embedded operating systems controller communication or diagnostics

• Familiarity with AUTOSAR standards and methodologies

• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN LIN ARXML and Ethernet

• Experience with software or system architecture
